Labor Recruitment Approval
An investor can obtain approvals to recruit labor from abroad either as part of the company establishment procedures or in a separate procedure. Approvals are issued prior to applying for visas at Ministry of Interior.
Requirements
- This approval process does not apply to individuals residing in the State of Qatar.
- The number of labor recruited shall remain within the maximum limit permitted, based on the business activity and the location of the company.

Instructions
Complete the Application
- Log onto the Single Window platform using investor credentials.
- Complete and submit the labor recruitment application, enter the required fields including the number, occupation, nationality and gender of the recruited labor.
Application processing
The system reviews the application and requests the investors for modifications in case of discrepancies especially related to abiding by the requirements on labor recruitment.
Fee Payment
- The investor must pay the fees upon receiving an approval notification for issuing a labor recruitment license.
- Fees can be paid online through the Single Window platform or manually by visiting the Single Window services centers. Other payment methods and details are available on Paying Services Fees - Single Window.
Issuance
- Once the fees is paid, the system notifies the investor to obtain the labor recruitment approval online or visit the Single Window services centers.
- This service takes two working days.
