Descriptions
This service allows the investor to reserve a trade name for their businesses for one hundred and eighty days. There is an additional one-time one hundred and eighty-day extension before the expiry of the initial phase. Once the reserve trade name process is finalized, the investor may proceed to apply for the establishment of the business.

- The trade name will not be approved if it is similar to another registered trade name. To search the registered trade names, click here.
It is possible to start the comprehensive establishment service directly without having to reserve a name in advance, and the name is chosen as part of the comprehensive establishment procedures without the need to pay an additional name reservation fee.

Eligibility
- The applicant shall have a registered account in the National Authentication System “Tawtheeq” with a valid Qatari ID.
Conditions
Trade Name
- It shall be compliant with trade name regulations. (Check these terms and regulations in the Knowledge Base.)
- It shall not be similar to that of another company. (Use the Trade Name Search Tool and verify that there is no similar tradename already registered.)

Process
- Fill out the application, including data and attachments.
- Receive the application and verify it automatically through the Single Window systems and service providers.
- Review the application and decide on it through the government entities providing the service.
- Pay fees electronically on the Single Window portal.
- Receive the certificates electronically through the Single Window.

Any formal document that is issued outside Qatar must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign affairs and the Embassy of Qatar at the issuing country.
