FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022
Qatar is preparing to host the world’s biggest football tournament, 2022 FIFA World Cup, an event that will create a myriad of investment opportunities.
Qatar became the first Arab country to receive the rights to organize the World Cup, thanks to its special bid that featured the use of sustainable and innovative technologies, and the development of stadiums with environmentally-friendly materials. The proximity between stadiums will facilitate the mobility of spectators attending this international event.
World Cup projects will be open to foreign investments as the government seeks to stimulate investment in infrastructure and major projects such as hotels, airports, ports, hospitals, highway networks, transportation, and railways.
Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy oversees planning and operational processes of the event, as it has achieved a significant construction progress in stadium sites to provide a secure and generous experience to Qatar’s guests from all over the world.
