This service allows investors to apply for the renewal of any expired permit or one that is about to expire, such as Commercial Registration (CR) or Commercial Permit (CP). The service also enables them to get any approvals related to for the regulated activities for all government entities that are part of the Single Window.

  • The applicant shall have a registered account in the National Authentication System “Tawtheeq” with a valid Qatari ID.
  • The applicant shall be listed in a CR or a CP.
  • The CR or CP shall be already expired or about to expire to be renewable.
  • The CR and the CP can be renewed for a duration ranging from one to five years.
  • The CP cannot be renewed for a duration that exceeds the CR's duration.
  • The CR is renewed for the whole organization, including main CR and branches all at once and cannot be renewed separately.
  • The CP cannot be renewed if the CR is neither active nor included in the comprehensive renewal request.
  • The CP of the professional offices and the home license do not require the CR to be renewed.
  • Each CP, whether it is a CP of a main CR or of a branch CR or of a Sub-CP (ATM, Warehouse, Vending Machine) is to be renewed separately.
  • For a CP to be renewed, its main CP should be already active.
  • Select the establishment you would like to renew and determine the number of renewal years then upload any required attachments.
  • Receive the application and verify it automatically through the Single Window systems and service providers.
  • Review the application and decide on it through the government entities providing the service.
  • Pay fees online on the Single Window portal.
  • Receive the certificates and original copies electronically through the Single Window.

Document Condition
No Objection Letter from Renewing the Commercial Registration from the Blocking Agency In case there is an active administrative or judicial block decree applied to the main CR or any of the non-terminated branch CRs.

Document Condition
No Objection Letter from Renewing the Commercial Registration from the General Tax Authority In case of branches of foreign companies.
Commercial Registration of Foreign Company

For the headquarters of the branch of the foreign company/ representative office.

This attachment is mandatory unless the representative office is representing a foreign government entity.
Statement or No Objection Letter from Renewing the Commercial Registration from the Contracting Government Entity For each government entity of the ones having active contracts with the branch of the foreign company.
Statement or No Objection Letter from Renewing the Commercial Registration from the Direct Contractor For each main contractor of the distinct list of the main contractors having active contracts with the branch of the foreign company.
Authorization Letter to Represent the Company Agency document or authorization from the foreign company/organization to its legal representative in Qatar to carry out its business.

Copy of the Professional Registration Record For the licensee and managers of the professional office.

Copy of a Valid License / Approval Issued by the Regulating Agency

For each regulated business activity that is registered or licensed on the renewing CRs or CP.

Those documents will not be requested if you chose to issue them through the proceedings of your request being submitted via the Single Window.

Any formal document that is issued outside Qatar must be attested by the ministry of the foreign affairs and the embassy of Qatar at the issuing country.

Item Fees
Same CR fees as listed in the Comprehensive Establishment service

In case the main CR has any branch CRs, the CR renewal fees are as follows:

  • CR fees of the CR with the highest activity group fees.
  • Fees of the remaining CRs will be based on 10% of the activity groups that exist on the CR with the highest CR fees, or full CR fees for any activity group that does not exist on that CR.

In case the main CR has any branch CRs, QCCI renewal fees are as follows:

  • QCCI fees of the main CR.
  • 10% for QCCI fees for each branch that has the same activities as the main branch.
  • If the branch has any activity that is not listed in the main CR, the full QCCI fees are added to the total QCCI fees.

Same CP Fees as listed in the Comprehensive Establishment service Note that the CP of each branch CR or sub CP will be renewed separately and each one will have its own CP fees.
The branch's CP fees are estimated at 10% of the CP fees of the main CR, only if the two below conditions are met, or, otherwise, the sub CP fees will be calculated using the same rules as in the comprehensive establishment service:
  • All licensed business activities are already listed in the CP of the main CR.
  • The sub-location type of the branch CR is the same as the sub-location type of the CP in the main CR.
